How about a single .info file that uses both the lgeneral and lgeneral-data tarballs as sources, and has lgeneral-data as a splitoff of lgeneral? Then make lgeneral BuildDepend and Depend on lgeneral-data.
Of course this is the solution I was thinking about, but a user (that owns the original version of the game Panzer General) could want to install lgeneral without the missions of lgeneral-data...
But definitely, if there is no other solution, I'll go this way.
