Indeed, all other projects are affected, too. SF.net staff is looking into it - seems some project is doing something improper and eating up all the processor time by spawning tons of MySQL processes .. or so.

http://fink.sourceforge.net/phpmyadmin/ takes foreever to load for example.

Anyway I started a manual inject of the PDB on fink.sf.net, and its been running for 35 minutes now...

Just to double check, did you make sure to kill that process? Else the cron job / my manual update attemps will run into troubles :-)
