Hi All, I would like to get a discussion going on swig. Swig has undergone a major change from the 1.3.20 version which is currently in fink. That version uses shared libraries, whereas 1.3.25 and newer do not. There are a number of programs that can not build with with 1.3.20. Are there packages in fink that cannot build with 1.3.25-27?
I would really like to get a swig package that I can start packaging some of the programs the require a newer swig. In my own local tree I have a swig1325 package that works for testing, but I don't like the name. There is an additional issue... swig 1.3.28 has a critical bug, but that will be fixed in the 1.3.29 release. Comments?
