Hi folks: I'm trying to get coot to compile on the soon-to-be-released fink pangocairo branch.
The coot package now seems to require pangocairo.pc, which, to my understanding, is only available in pango1-xft2-ft219-dev. (Am I right about that)? I've finally forced configure to locate it in /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/pkgconfig/pangocairo.pc Compiling then goes along fine until it fails to find libtool files in /sw/lib that in reality reside in /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/libpango-1.0.la /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/libpangocairo-1.0.la /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.la /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/libpangox-1.0.la /sw/lib/pango-ft219/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.la Is there anything obvious that I am missing, or do I have to hack the configure file, or what? The author of coot is very responsive so if I can tell him what to fix, he will probably do it if it doesn't break compilation on other platforms like linux. I know I asked this six months ago but I am still stumped. If you want more details, the coot.info and coot.patch files I am working with and so forth are posted on my blog: http://xanana.ucsc.edu/~wgscott/wordpress_new/wordpress/?p=17 Thanks.
