Hi

I don't know if this affects others, but with the current unstable, I
have trouble running gtk/gnome applications with an error msg like this:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.dylib
   Referenced from: /sw/lib/libgnomecanvas-2.0.dylib
   Reason: Incompatible library version: libgnomecanvas-2.0.dylib
requires version 3.0.0 or later, but libXdamage.1.dylib provides
version 2.0.0
Trace/BPT trap

or a similar one:

Can't load '/sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/Gtk2/
Gtk2.bundle' for module Gtk2: dlopen(/sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8/darwin-thread-
multi-2level/auto/Gtk2/Gtk2.bundle, 1): Library not loaded: /usr/X11/
lib/libXdamage.1.dylib
   Referenced from: /sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level/
auto/Gtk2/Gtk2.bundle
Reason: Incompatible library version: Gtk2.bundle requires version
3.0.0 or later, but libXdamage.1.dylib provides version 2.0.0 at /
System/Library/Perl/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level/DynaLoader.pm
line 230.

this happens with a lot of libraries that link against libXdamage.
Right now, I rebuild all packages (one after another... :( ) that give
me this error, which seems to help. Can this be releated to XCode
updates or similar?
Or more importantly, what is the best option if this happens?

regards,
matthias
