Not sure what to say .. If its no longer maintained _ that would be a clear no ! Further, the patches on that site refer only to libpng versions <= 1.2.25 (or 1.2.29..), while your libpng is at 1.2.31.. On the other hand, it seems the patch is maintained further on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418900 (up to 1.2.31 at least..) Does upstream have anything to say about why they don't want to incorporate it ?
