Hello guys,

I have a 10.6.4 Snow Leopard on an intel macbook pro, and use the source
install Fink in order to run Linux programs. I'm having big trouble using Scite
to program in ADA.

Whenever I try to compile or build a program, command line inside the Scite
program says no Ada compiler was found on the system, even though the gcc4.0
and gcc4.2 packages seem to be installed as virtual packages. When I tried
removing them in order to reinstall them, I can't even remove or purge them,
because it says they aren't installed!

And when I try to install either of the gcc44 or gcc45 packages, it fails when
it comes to the part where it tries to install ppl-0.10.2-2. How do I fix this?
I would also appreciate any help as to how I can install linux programs at all
with Fink. It seems like it only installs packages on its list. Can I actually
download something else which is not on the list and install it into Fink/with
Fink?

Thanks a bunch in advance,

Marcos
