Well, at the time I killed it at the very last phase, the Optimizing
System Performance, with the bar almost at the end while stopped
there for 40 mins. I figured it had installed everything and failed
the pre-binding for some obscure reasons.
This time I let it go and it took 3+hrs before claiming Intsllation
successful. Looks like killing it even at the very last bit of the
very last phase corrupts the installation.
