Hello,

I'm not sure if I should submit this as a "fink bug" or an "ethereal bug."
I'm thinking ethereal b/c I don't think it's a package/install issue, but
hey - I could be wrong! I suppose it's possible that there's a bug in the
dependencies, rather than ethereal...

I'm running the latest ethereal (really now - 0.9.0-2 :-). When I launch it,

* my airport card stops seeing all others' packets
* ethereal also does not see my airport card's packets
* the problem persists even after quitting ethereal

I have to quit ethereal, (and tcpdump if I was running it at the same time),
and then bounce the airport card, before it works again.

My analysis is based on the follwing:

* run continuous ping to gateway in Terminal
* run tcpdump in Terminal
* launch ethereal
  - ping starts to fail
  - tcpdump can still see my echo requests
* start capture on ethereal
  - ethereal does not see my echo requests
  - tcpdump does.

-Avram
