If this is the case it is ok. Verify that the php*.so is in that directory and then put the "Load Module path/to/your/shared/module/php4*.so" php4*.so above should = the exact path to the shared object file you just verified. Then make sure these lines are in your apache httpd.conf file "AddType application/x-httpd-php .php" "AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps" This is essentially like a AddHandler for apache telling it to use the php parser for files that end in ".php" Do a apachectl configtest then a apachectl restart if it doesnt start check your log. Try to get info from a <?php phpinfo(); ?> file in your document root. Just make sure this file ends in .php so that the parser will do the work for your.
If none of this works send the output of these two commands to a web page where we can look at your configuration file. "cat /etc/httpd/httpd.conf | egrep -i '(LoadModule|php|user|group)' " "ls -l lib/apache/1.3/|egrep -I php" _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
