I also tried to file a bug report (bugreport.apple.com) as suggested to request Apple include f77/g77 in the next release. The bug report app wouldn't let me in, even with my valid ADC username and password. I am glad that Apple is doing it's best (supposedly) to keep up with the GNU gcc. I look forward to the official 3.1 release from Apple. I'm sure it will be better than having to build it ourselves via CVS. I hear several other big changes are in store for OS X.2.
