And that raises the next question. A standard tech support refrain has been "make sure you have the Dec 2001 devtools". When should we start telling people "make sure you have the Apr 2002 devtools"? Will upgrading break things for most users? (The line above suggests that this will be the case for at least some packages.) Will upgrading fix things? Should users stick with Dec 2001 for now? Is there a "Fink policy" here, or will there be one before long?
