Shouldn't be a problem. At home I've got both freestanding XDarwin (for
when I want full screen mode) and OroborOSX+XDarwin (for rootless use).
Works fine.

The only problems I've had involve the fact that the beta version of
OroborOSX I'm running -- OroborOSX-v0.8preview2.app -- brought in a bunch
of features I was hoping for (like, say, preferences that are persistent
between launches of the application :) but it also seems buggier than it
was with OroborOSXv0.75a4r2.app.

You win some, you lose some. In any case, I don't think this has anything
to do with the co-existance of pure XDarwin and Oro-XDarwin -- it seems to
keep all the XDarwin stuff sandboxed in the OroborOSX folder/application,
as OroborOSX-v0.8preview2.app/Contents/XDarwin.app. Hopefully this won't
interfere with anyone's external system X11 installation in /usr/... .
