Wow, me too!  I had problems with xfrisk dialog boxes not gaining focus, 
which made adding new players almost impossible and choosing how many 
armies to move definitely impossible.  That was with xfree 4.2.0-10 and 
the latest Sawfish with gnome.  But since the upgrade to 4.2.0-11, that 
problem has disappeared.  I wasn't sure it was related to xfree, but now 
that you mention it, maybe that was the problem.  Thanks guys, and good
