Well, I've had some luck trying to get Fink working. I've been using FinkCommander, however, I only have 33 packages listed, which is basically the packages I have installed.
I have tried apt-get update, etc, and it doesn't seem to get the package info for any other packages. Anyway, so I downloaded the latest fvwm2 (fvwm-2.4.9.tar.gz) from fvwm.org, and tried compiling it, and eventually, it stopped with the following error: gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I../libs -I/usr/X11R6/include -DFVWM_MODULEDIR=\"/usr/local/libexec/fvwm/2.4.9\" -DFVWM_DATADIR=\"/usr/local/share/fvwm\" -DFVWM_CONFDIR=\"/usr/local/etc\" -g -O2 -c menus.c menus.c:240: illegal expression, found `void' fvwm.h:120: parse error in conditional expression cpp-precomp: warning: errors during smart preprocessing, retrying in basic mode make[2]: *** [menus.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 Anyone know what is going on?
