The only difference is, that you have the alias settermtitle in your  
Apple Terminal.

Just try it out: 'settermtitle Joel' will replace the name of your  
terminal window from 'Terminal' to 'Joel'. That's it. (It does not work  
when you just copy/paste the command from aliases to your terminal,  
because of the escape sequence which gets mingled up. But if you have  
the solution mentioned in the link, you will have it defined for your  
Apple terminal.)
