Yes, I noticed that it does take a very very very long time to
unpack very large debs on 10.2.1 (I also noticed with the Emacs21
deb). I could have something to do with the sheer number of files
being written, but I don't know.
What I do know is that eventually it does finish (on the order of
maybe 10 minutes on my G4 800 desktop).
