[Fink-users] Pan failure - Illegal instruction

The other night Pan failed to start for me. I unfortunately did not write down the entire error but it ended with a single line "Bus error". The only recent change to my system had been the installation of Open Office. This required some fiddling (moving and symlinking) with libdl.dylib and libdl.0.dylib (from dlcompat) but worked just fine. Pan also functioned after this so I don't believe this was the problem but just to be sure I put everything back the way it had been. I figured a cvs-update all couldn't hurt and might fix the problem. It did - sort of. Now Pan fails with:

Illegal instruction
At least it's a new error :-) Anyway, I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a fix. I have tried un-installing pan and re-installing it which did not help. If it is of any use the contents of the crash report are below. Thanks for any assistance.
