[Fink-users] XDarwin always quits on launch

Hi everybody,

for a couple of weeks now, I am no longer able to start X11 because XDarwin always quits on launch. This happens after having basically initialized the screen (X11-style grey background appears). XDarwin silently (no crash noted) quits and nothing happens.

I have installed the binaries, I have compiled with fink, I have re-installed 10.2. Nothing has helped.

Does XDarwin/XFree86 write any useful log information somewhere explaining why it quits? I have no clue.

Any help appreciated.
