And you can install it on any machine, tar it up and move it anywhere else you choose.
Indeed it does. But it's not the only way to install Fink, nor is it impossible to move Fink after installing it. Hence I still stand fully behind my remark. If he had first asked polietly instead of the mail he then wrote, it'd have been much preferable to all involved parties, really.
