True, but it is highly unlikely that one would make a trojaned .mp3 that targets OS X powerpc, with MachO calling conventions.. the trojan out there surely targets x86.

Anyway, there is an alternative, in fink now which is being more actively developed: "mpg321". "fink install mpg321"
