I have a build system that depends on some of the features in GNU make 3.80, but MacOS X 10.1.5 (which I am still running) and Fink (even unstable) still have only 3.79.1. I'd like to make a .deb from the latest make source so that I can manage it with Fink, but I don't know how to go about it. Any thoughts?
