OK. I'm sorry. Well, I'm working whit Mac OS X 10.2.4 and I'm trying to plug in an HP Laser Jet 6L printer in one of the USB ports. Every time I try to plug the printer, the Jaguar Printer Manager complains about a "non know printer on the USB port". I've downloaded the foomatic (www.linuxprinting.org) drivers, but nothing changed.
Then I downloaded the CUPS software (www.cups.org). I compiled CUPS but when I try to add the printer, CUPS ask me for the printer address (in linux usually at /dev/usb/lp0). I search my system but I find nothig I can call the printer addres. I'm fairly new to the Mac - Fink world, and after a useless search on the list files I ask for your help.
