i've been trying to install certain packages using
"fink install" and many a times obtain the following error:

curl -f -L -P - -O
ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff/tiff-v3.5.7.tar.gz
curl: (30) Server does not grok PORT, try without it!
### execution of curl failed, exit code 30
Downloading the file "tiff-v3.5.7.tar.gz" failed.

going to the ftp manually ( on my web browser) shows clearly that the
following url exists and the source is where it's supposed to be.
What could be wrong?
I know that I can go there, downloaded manually and run install again, but
it'd be nice to be able to have fink do this auto esp. when there are lots
of dependencies.
Any ideas?
