Skip: As reported in an earlier on this thread, the relevant fink ".info" file was updated some time ago to point to the current version of the source tarball. Fink doesn't exactly "distribute" the alpha and beta versions; the ".info" file is used by fink to build from source (it's essentially just a script to do so). Only when a fink package is moved to fink's "stable" tree is a pre-compiled version distributed.
