No, actually lcms is from the master archive, too. Check your MirrorOrder: field. See if it's set for MasterFirst.

I was told by the lcms maintainer (Martin Costabel) that the lcms server gets bogged down easily. Keep trying.

I wasn't able to duplicate your problem (I did find that the master
site hasn't been updated yet, though)

I figured that, since it couldn't serve me with lcms either:

curl -f -L -O
http://distfiles.opendarwin.org/lcms-1.10.tar.gz
curl: (22) The requested file was not found

But that doesn't appear to be a "master" so didn't have the
master problem.

What does the Mirror-master: field in /sw/etc/fink.conf look like?

Mirror-master: http://distfiles.opendarwin.org/

Also, check the Source: and CustomMirror: fields in the two .info files
and see if there's anything spurious there.

openssl.info contains: Source: mirror:custom:source/%n-%v.tar.gz CustomMirror: << Primary: http://www.openssl.org/ Secondary: http://www.planetmirror.com/pub/openssl/

and openssl097.info contains:
Source: mirror:custom:source/openssl-%v.tar.gz
CustomMirror: <<
  Primary: http://www.openssl.org/
  Secondary: http://www.planetmirror.com/pub/openssl/

Doesn't seem to be anything odd there...the extra copies of
"master:" looked like some extra substitution or variable
not reinitialised in some script somehow...

I have now updated those packages because I found another
mirror that had them so I can't reproduce it for the moment.
Still need lcms though, its other Source isn't serving it
either. I'll try again later.

thanks!

fink (via FinkCommander) seems to be having a problem with
its master:

curl -f -L -O
master:master:master:http://distfiles.opendarwin.org/openssl-
0.9.7b.tar.gz
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'master'
### execution of curl failed, exit code 6

and prior to that I had

curl -f -L -O
master:master:http://distfiles.opendarwin.org/openssl-0.9.6j.tar.gz
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'master'
### execution of curl failed, exit code 6
Downloading the file "openssl-0.9.6j.tar.gz" failed.

I don't have one with a single master, but I think that
occured in the previous (aborted) attempt to update a
different set of packages...

I have mostly up to date (apart from the batch I'm working
on) unstable trees...and the last selfupdate-cvs applied
something that whizzed up the screen without me noticing
what it was (iconv?)...perhaps containing the spurious
master duplicator though?

Any clues anyone??
