I just purged my xmms install from fink
Then I did "apt-get update" and then I ran "apt-get install xmms". However,
you might need to run this as root and then install.
To remove from fink I did this "fink purge flac-xmms xmms xmms-bin
xmms-shlibs" because of dependency problems. The I logged in to root "su"
then password. Then I ran "apt-get update" then I ran "apt-get install
xmms" if it has an error with that you might have to run "apt-get -f
install xmms". Good luck, hope this helps.
