Okay, I have a really long compile going on and I'm wondering what will happen if I close the lid of my ibook. Will this screw things up? Will it keep the computer from sleeping? Anybody tried this before? I know this isn't exactly related to fink but I figured you guys would be the ones to know.

I do it all the time. Often Ill start compiling something on my TItanium here at work, and then when 4:30 hits if its still compiling the laptops gotta go to sleep so I can pack it up and take it home.
Havent run into any issues yet, and Ive even done it with big stuff like KDE so..
