Not really.
If I check this box, the system Apache 1.3 will be started as in the StartupItems Script the path is 'hardcoded'.
I could write a startupItems script myself (I already have one, as I had a selfcompiled apache2 version running before); my question was, if there is a fink way to do this? And wht this daemon directiory is about?

As far as I know, you check the box that says "personal web sharing" in the "sharing" section of System Preferences, and apache is up and running.

It might be a little more complicated if you want to start a DNS service and so on.

Never mind, I found the ssl version of the svn module.
But what I would be interested (and I didn't find any docu), how is apache started? and what is the /sw/etc/daemons directory with xml file for apache doing?

Hi list,

I was trying to install apache2 together with subversion and php, but there is only libapache2-ssl-mod-php4 and no none ssl module for php. svn has no ssl module. So this won't work together.

Any hints, ideas?

Stefan
