I get the same problem attempting to build gmp. It was installed correctly, but I recently deleted the entire /sw tree to preserve disc space. After reinstalling, by bootstrapping from the current Fink tarball, I get this error on attempting to build gmp. I presume it's due to upgrading to 10.3.3.
