Is sendmail the black sheep of SMTP apps on the Mac or something?

It's more like it's the black sheep of SMTP apps - other MTAs are generally considered to be more reliable, secure, and easier to maintain (I'm quite happy with postfix).

/usr/include/gcc/darwin/3.3/varargs.h:10: #error "GCC no longer
implements <varargs.h>."
/usr/include/gcc/darwin/3.3/varargs.h:11: #error "Revise your code to
use <stdarg.h>."

I encountered this problem when I built spim, and solved it by setting gcc 3.1 as the default compiler (using gcc_select) rather than 3.3.
