Is ClamAV part of fink? It doesn't show up in fink commander. Is it part of the unstable tree?

Thanks.

thanks for the responses. I've wondered about clamAV for quite awhile. Just wigs me out alittle - how fast it grabs its updates.

Appreciate the input.

I know this issue is a bit of a dead horse, but here I go anyway.

I'm no longer a .mac member, as all of the things they offer I either do locally (via psync for backup) or already have with my ISP (free webspace). I Just reinstalled Virex 7.2 v1.1 _and_ ran an eUpdate. It appears that there were no evil ramifications. I removed and reinstalled the dlcompat-shlibs as well as the openssl-shlibs and wget-ssl - which was removed during this process.

I guess my specific questions are:

-Does the v1.1 solve the issue with Virex and Fink's /sw?
-If not what, what files/directories (aside from above) are affected?
-If this is going to _be_ an issue, would clamav (or another OSS anti-virus) be a good alternative? Taking care of the mac side as well as the *nix?

thx in advance
