Anybody have much experience with GnuCash? I installed it recently and have set up all my accounts and everything, and it is really great and works wonderfully. Only thing is, when I ask it to produce a report (e.g., an Asset Piechart), it crashes. Every time. Crashing sucks.

I dug around a bit in the GnuCash documentation (https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo), and someone with a similar problem mentioned that running gconfd-1 while GnuCash is running fixed it for him. I checked Fink, and it seems that there is a "gconf", which I installed, and there is a file called "gconfd-1" in /sw/bin/. So when I change to that directory, type gconfd-1, nothing happens and GnuCash still crashes when I ask it for a report.

Any thoughts? Let me know if I am being too convoluted or have provided too little information --

Powerbook G4
OSX 10.3.4
XDarwin
Fink 0.7.0
Gnome & Sawfish
GnuCash 1.8.8-12

Thanks Drew
