Hi,

I tried to install the binary of pan, but failed:

    $ sudo apt-get install pan
    Password:
    Reading Package Lists... Done
    Building Dependency Tree... Done
    Package pan has no available version, but exists in the database.
    This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
    never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
    of sources.list
    E: Package pan has no installation candidate

I have also run apt-get update, and get the same thing again.

    $ sw_vers; fink --version
    ProductName:    Mac OS X
    ProductVersion: 10.2.8
    BuildVersion:   6R73
    Package manager version: 0.21.0
    Distribution version: 0.6.3.cvs

Any ideas?

FWIW, I'm building pan (and its dependencies) from source, and it's
going okay.

Thanks,
Dan
