Any help appreciated...
On my machine with 10.4.2, xcode 2.1, fink-0.24.8-21, following
several attempts, I've apparently gotten openoffice installed;
fink list -i gives the following (drastically editied for space):
i oaf-shlibs 0.6.10-26 Object Activation Framework
i openjade 1.3.2-28 Implementation of DSSSL
i openoffice.org 1.9m121-59 Integrated office productivity
suite
i opensp3-shlibs 1.5-15 Shared Libraries for opensp3
i opensp4 1.5.1-2 SGML parser
Try the right command:
dpkg -S openoffice.org | grep /bin/

So, this says it's installed too...
I'm not sure what you were looking for piping the dpkg result to grep
(& no, I'm not sure if I'm using the right syntax or grammar to
describe what I'm trying to ask either). Here's some more info (items
