I was persuaded over the weekend to try and get X.org set up and running
on my laptop, I was previously just using the Apple X11 setup. After I
remembered to remove /usr/X11R6 and /etc/X11 , it all compiled and
installed correctly but I can't get it to run. From the note on
sourceforge it should be just a matter of running startx or XDarwin, but
startx does not exist after the installation and XDarwin just fails with
a font problem. I think I need help and acknowledge stupidity in advance.
Don
I've attached the Console text for the failure if that helps.
