I guess I'm on the bleeding edge. Is anyone on fink project working on
this yet? I was able to get fink bootstrapped and installed, but only
through personal heroics. I'd say about half the packages I've tried
so far that fail to compile can be fixed by adding
'CFLAGS=-fno-common' to the list of configure options, but there is
something really bizzare going on with some packages and files in
/usr/include. With gzip for instance I got serveral errors about
multiple type definitions from system include files. How is that even
possible? They're system include files! I modified them by manually
expanding the typedefs in the headers files temporarily just to get it
to compile and then put it back the way it was. Very strange.
