Hello, I have had the same problem for some time. I also removed Gnome files from my home and even purged (i. e. also deleted all configuration files) all of gnome and reinstalled Gnome. the problem remains. I also ran Gnome with another account, which I never ran Gnome with before, same problem: no entries in the application menu.
Anyone any ideas? Btw.: Is this the right place to ask about Gnome issues, or should we write on the Fink Gnome list?
