Hello, I have exactly the same problem with building kdegraphics on 10.3.9 PPC (G4).
gcc --version gcc (GCC) 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1671) which xpdf /sw/bin/xpdf xpdf -v xpdf version 3.01 The error message when building kdegraphics looks the same like the one of Jean-Maurice.
