1) It is set to scan ~/Music rather than an afp share. 2) I do have some of the taglib && id*lib packages: $ fink list -i taglib id3 Information about 5970 packages read in 6 seconds. i id3lib4 3.8.3-1014 Library for manipulating ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags i id3lib4-dev 3.8.3-1014 Development files for id3lib i id3lib4-shlibs 3.8.3-1014 Shared libraries for manipulating ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags i libid3tag 0.15.1b-3 ID3 tag manipulation library i libid3tag-shlibs 0.15.1b-3 ID3 tag manipulation library i taglib 1.4-1023 Audio meta-data library i taglib-shlibs 1.4-1023 Shared libraries for the taglib meta-data library Go ahead and try installing them and see if that helps.
