My experience with that version of Evolution was very similar - it always crashed. After using the "ximian-connector-setup" to configure my exchange account, when Evolution started it would crash, ending with a "bus error".
There is a newer version of Evolution (2.6) in the experimental CVS tree. I have had mixed results with that build as well. Sometimes I can successfully connect to the Exchange server and other times I cannot. I can't really be more specific because Evolution or Evolution-Exchange (exchange component) tend to crash a lot. If you want more info let me know, but so far I've found Evolution unusable for exchange accounts. -- Ryan > From: Viv Kendon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Tue, 15 Aug 2006 14:36:50 +0100 (BST) > To: Fink Users Mailing List <[email protected]> > Subject: [Fink-users] evolution-1.5.92.1-1026 run time crash > > Does anyone have evolution-1.5.92.1-1026 up and running? > It compiles OK on a PPC G5, 10.4.7, 10.4 tree, everything up > to date unstable (except OOo).
