This is a hard one: Actually, all 10 tests that are marked as "failed" here do give the right answer, so they should have been marked as "passed". One cause of this could be that your strcmp() function is not working correctly, but since this function comes from the system library, it is not clear how this can happen. You don't have a file named /usr/local/lib/libc.dylib, for example? Could you show the output of the commands cd /sw/src/fink.build/libidn-0.6.6-1/libidn-0.6.6 nm -m tests/tst_strerror | grep strcmp otool -L tests/tst_strerror It could also be a locale-related error, but then it would even be harder to hunt down. Do you have any language-related environment variables set, LANG, LC_ALL etc?
