Hi, thanks for building the paraview-mpi packages. I have just tested the lammpi one. It compiles and builds fine and starts up properly. However when I try to use it in parallel on some real data via
lamboot -v lam-mpirun -np 2 /sw/bin/paraview I get the following: [..] ErrorMessage # Error or warning: There was a VTK Error in file: /sw/src/fink.build/paraview-mpi-lammpi-2.6.1-1001/ParaView-2.6.1/Servers/Filters/vtkPVTreeComposite.cxx (657) vtkPVTreeComposite (0x6495900): Sanity check failed: Expecting CheckAbort or Finished message. ErrorMessage end Process id: 1 >> ERROR: In /sw/src/fink.build/paraview-mpi-lammpi-2.6.1-1001/ParaView-2.6.1/Servers/Filters/vtkPVTreeComposite.cxx, line 758 vtkPVTreeComposite (0x5639ef0): Expecting ABORT or WAITING from root. I was trying to do Volume rendering in parallel. I am actually not 100% sure that is implemented in version 2.6.1, so maybe the error is to be expected..? I will continue to test this.
