Pepe, I'm the person who updated the sqlite3 package. I needed the newer version of sqlite3 for an update to a package I maintain. I emailed you last month letting you know that the update worked fine in my local installation and if you could then update the official fink package. After not receiving a response, I brought it up in the #fink IRC channel, and the developers there said I should just go ahead and update the package because it was a very minor change. It built fine on my computer, so I thought things would be OK, but apparently the new version didn't interact nicely with other installed Tk-related packages. After the first error report this morning, I found out the cause of the crash with the help of others here and on IRC, and the package should now be working again. The only change that was required (in the -3 revision that should be out to the Fink mirrors by now) was to unset a Tcl related PATH that other Tk-using programs set and sqlite3 was misusing. Hopefully this explains the situation.
