I have a clean install of Fink that I downloaded today. I ran "fink
selfupate" and "fink updateall". I ran "fink configure" and told fink to
use the unstable branch. However, I still can't get it to see the texlive
package.
$ fink list texlive
Information about 2522 packages read in 1 seconds.
$ fink list texlive-base
Information about 2522 packages read in 0 seconds.
