So for you the path is also different in both cases, but with /sw/bin:/sw/sbin in front both times as it should be. This is contrary to what happens on my machine running 10.6.2 with Xquartz 2.3.4. Is there anything else that I can do except to wait for XQuartz 2.4.1 since 2.4 is not available for Snow Leopard? Is there anybody out there running the same versions as I who sees the same behaviour?
