Is your camera listed in /sw/lib/libgphoto2/2.4.8/ ?
(or equivalently by running
/sw/lib/libgphoto2/print-camera-list human-readable
)
/sw/lib/libgphoto2/print-camera-list by itself refers to writing the
camera list in a format usable by HAL, which seems to be the most
appropriate option for Fink's use (though the path mentioned in the text
hasn't been corrected for Fink--use the correct one)
I'd suggest also referring to the upstream documentation.
