I have not been able to update Fink for the last few weeks (Fink 0.29.12,
32-bit, OS 10.6.3) because it freezes while trying to compile Subversion -
here is the tail end of the console output:

When it gets stuck there, it also prevents me from running anything else on
the computer:

I tried this:
sudo sysctl -w kern.maxprocperuid=1024
but it doesn't fix the problem.
Do I just need to go back and re-install Fink from scratch again?
