Dear Alessio,

I happen to have two G4 macs with the same OSX and Xcode.
On one, (Mac Mini G4) I got the package to build after around 5 tries.
On the other(Powerbook G4) I tried 25 times and no luck.
(I fiddled around with "Safe mode" "nice" and nothing changed the situation.)

But I was able to copy the .deb file from one to the other and get both
upgraded.

Everything else built, and I am fully up to date.

So do you have access to more than one Mac+fink?

I'm really sorry to hear that you are hitting this problem.
Andrew

Dear all.
I have celbrated now my 30th attempt to build those libraries.
Should I consider just to remove them?
and forget about kde on my mac?

Or is there any other info that I can provide to try to fix this problem?
