Dear all, Jack

I got the following error while trying to install octave:

Failed: phase compiling: gcc48-4.8.0-1001 failed

I did a "fink selfupdate", but got in return "No packages to install." Indeed,
I had done a selfupdate before launching the installation. I googled the error
and I found an email sent a few days ago, with a response saying a self update
should solve the problem, but it doesn't seem to work for me. It was also
specified that the corrected "gcc48.patch" file should "have a md5sum of
43e2c257a4b23527b7378153bc168228", which is not the case in mine, but fink
won't update it.

Here is the additional information:

Package manager version: 0.34.7
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Thu Apr 11 18:05:38 2013, 10.7, x86_64
Trees: local/main stable/main
Xcode.app: 4.6.1
Xcode command-line tools: 4.6.0.0.1.1362189000
Max. Fink build jobs: 4

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Marc
